Monster Queen
Adele "stans" are really brave and it's almost funny In streaming era no one is streaming your album and your pure sales are nowhere to be found after the holiday season, the only thing you can sell out is the Vegas residency and they still come for a 455K SECOND week I feel so bad for Adele for having these type of "stans" who only utilize her tbh Edited May 1 by Monster Queen
UnusualBoy
Not sure why Adele is being brought up here when 30 is not even charting anymore, she is my fave but some of these stans need to stop setting her up.

Klein
5 hours ago, Kitboga said: are you using this term "GP" ironically or do you actually believe in it? because it'd be incredibly dumbfounding if it's the latter. I mean, you do realize the flopping antis created this whole separation between a "normal public listener" and a swiftie, so that no matter how big her numbers are, they can always fall onto this "It's all done by fans, not by real people!" fallacy they've setup to minimize it all, right? so for you to just totally accept their false premise unchallenged, you have: 1. Let other people define what reality is for you. 2. accepted their premise that people who go to work 9-5 and happened to listen to swift more, are somehow not part of the public. this is giving sheeple being herded by a wolf x1,000,000 tbh, to put it mildly. You know, I just hope sooner or later you take the hint that you are absolutely ridiculous, embarrassing and unbearable and just delete your account already. 2 2

Gaia
Saying she doesn't have causal listeners in 2024 is crazy and wildly inaccurate, BUT it is accurate to say her sales are inflated by her fandom physical sales. She's operating like a female BTS that has public support so her sales are otherworldly. But it does leave one confused as to why she continues to operate like a Kpop act encouraging her fans to bulk buy her content when she's already so successful. But yeah, a big drop was expected with near 2M physical sales

But it does leave one confused as to why she continues to operate like a Kpop act encouraging her fans to bulk buy her content when she's already so successful. But yeah, a big drop was expected with near 2M physical sales There is nothing "inflated" by her fandom, this is like saying her touring number is inflated by her fandom. She just has a huge and loyal fanbase that is eager to buy her album and that's not inflated. Artists with loyal fandom always have more physical sales and that's how it works, Swifties aren't mass-buying $30 vinyl like any K-pop male group's fanbase that mass-buy those $8 CDs. The drop is big cause half of the debut week numbers are coming from 2 months of preorder and this time it's not the Christmas season. Apart from her own fanbase, Taylor's pure sales have the biggest GP support among all artists, Lover and folkore in their 300 weeks after release still pulls 7000 pure sales and that's obviously not her fans are buying it.
