Adele "stans" are really brave and it's almost funny  In streaming era no one is streaming your album and your pure sales are nowhere to be found after the holiday season, the only thing you can sell out is the Vegas residency and they still come for a 455K SECOND week   I feel so bad for Adele for having these type of "stans" who only utilize her tbh

There is nothing "inflated" by her fandom, this is like saying her touring number is inflated by her fandom. She just has a huge and loyal fanbase that is eager to buy her album and that's not inflated. Artists with loyal fandom always have more physical sales and that's how it works, Swifties aren't mass-buying $30 vinyl like any K-pop male group's fanbase that mass-buy those $8 CDs. The drop is big cause half of the debut week numbers are coming from 2 months of preorder and this time it's not the Christmas season. Apart from her own fanbase, Taylor's pure sales have the biggest GP support among all artists, Lover and folkore in their 300 weeks after release still pulls 7000 pure sales and that's obviously not her fans are buying it.
