PoisonedIvy Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) My prediction is 250K But a 300K week would be unreal. Edited April 30 by PoisonedIvy 1

I think 1M is impossible, 25 "only" did 1.1M in its 2nd week with the Black Friday boost. She will probably do 700-800k which is still higher than any non-Adele/Taylor first week sales since Bey in 2013 Edited April 27 by CaptainMusic 2

Midnights dropped to like 300k no and that was pre-Xmas season? 350-500k would my guess

ALA Posted April 27 Posted April 27 (edited) I'm gonna guess 450k for Taylor. Drop will be steep but not surprising considering how frontloaded sales were. Edited April 27 by ALA 1

The second week's 1.1M was just from the natural decline?

Nah her 2nd week was padded by Black Friday sales while the 5th week was due to Christmas sales. 18 minutes ago, NEX said: You're all tripping with these predictions. Don't forget the pre-orders. I still don't see her doing less than 500k. 2 1
Squall Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Yeah some of you are setting her up. Considering the HUGE amount of pure sales first week, the drop is probably going to be super big. It's fine though, the album will have legs considering the streams. 2

I'd be shocked and very impressed with anything above 500k while my expectations are more along the lines of 400-450k. I'd be absolutely GAGGED if it did 700-800k. Edited April 27 by Jpkun

ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted April 27 ATRL Moderator Posted April 27 400k would be great (and is realistic)... But I think when casual listeners finally get to the end of The Anthology this week and discover The Bolter, the projection will shoot up to 1.2m 1 7
Hunter_13 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 402k for 1989 OG remains her best 2nd week hold, units wise. So anything around that would be amazing.
CandleGuy Posted April 27 Posted April 27 550-750k is what I would expect. Anything less would be tragic, anything more would be incredible. 2 2
UnusualBoy Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I'd say 500k for Taylor would be realistic, anything over that would be amazing. The album was heavily fueled by sales so the drop will be hefty.
