Honestly, I have made peace with the fact that Madonna will not see the reappreciation she deserves. Not even when she's dead. It is extremely sad but I look at the state of culture and public opinion and I just don't see it happening. The GP just doesn't have the range anymore. Everyone is just so literal now, about everything. Tides seem to be turning towards conservatism and respectability. It's dire! So I personally celebrate and enjoy these small little victories
