Reginald Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Who knows? Tbh most of our modern faves seem to have trouble sustaining success by the time their third era comes around. 2
Alex Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Lets do a quick roundup shall we? Olivia rodrigo is hopefully already on her way out let's keep it a buck. The music sucks and there's no narrative to sell her music so it's tanking… oh well! She can try and attach herself to all these musical icons like No Doubt but honestly it just makes her look more amateur as an artist than she already is.. still don't understand her hype Sabrina has been hustling for the last 10 years, things are finally looking up for her so of course she's going to continue flourishing. The amount of goodwill she's garnered through each album release has allowed her to slowburn a dedicated fanbase who have literally grown with her. She can always go into side projects like acting and broadway if need be, she's probably got the most leeway out of all of em. Tate is my Albertan sister but girlie desperately needs to start putting her personality out there because we still have no clue who the hell she is. Let's hope her A&R has her best interest for album 3 and preferably has a vocal coach on standby too. Regardless, she has the chops to go very far. Madison Beer… also doesn't give us a personality for us to grasp onto. Yes she's gorgeous, yes she can sing, what else do we know about her? I feel like the internet also loves to clown her for past statements but really she's only as good as her last bop. Plus that last album was rough. Hopefully she finds an identity in the industry soon. You forgot to mention actual future trailblazers who will more than likely inspire many future artists to come such as - PinkPantheress - Doechii - Tyla these three have carved out their own lane (or are still in the process of doing so) but they are so unique in terms of artistic identity they'll for sure be going far. 1
Virgos Groove Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) Olivia is already waaay above the others so let's take her out of the conversation. Out of the other 3, the one I can see going places is Tate, even if she sounds like she has a cold half the time. She has something special about her, but the presentation and songs are still very "throw at the wall and see what sticks". Her next album needs to do for her what FN did for Dua. Slave 4 U-era Britney could be an interesting influence. The other two... Sabrina is a dollar-store Ariana and Madison is a glorified Insta influencer, lbr. Edited April 26 by Virgos Groove 1
