Not Israel getting handed nearly $30b to kill Palestinians *and* it being almost half of what Ukraine gets despite one being the attacker and the other the attacked. :rip:

Ukraine at least has justification to need aid but whew are weapons manufacturers running to the bank with such effective lobbyists in Congress.

American people are suffering from all sorts of things, they can barely live well. So the solution by their government is to send all the money to foreign countries to help them killing innocent people, wow.

I wish it didn't have to be tied to a larger package but I'm glad that they weren't able to trap aid for Ukraine once again.

Militarism, war, and genocide, while the roads, cities, and rural areas of this country are literally crumbling and folks are increasingly destitute and unable to afford basic goods.
The only good thing about this is that the US is hurtling increasingly toward its own inner breaking point with these over bloated handouts to the military industrial complex and massively increasing its debt. Rampant militarism and overextension always marks the end of empires and the time is ticking for this evil country.

and even better ISISrael is now wholly dependent on US military aid, has sabotaged any "peace guarantees" it had been on the road towards with surrounding "neutral" Arab countries, and basically destroyed its longterm security by ensuring an entire new generation of (100% justified) militants who hate the country and will (and should) attack again in the future. They have all but guaranteed their own demise because eventually the US aid to that disgusting, illegitimate country will dry up (various segments of the US population are already pursuing isolationist politics) and they'll deservedly suffer the consequences.

It always comes back to Americans talking about themselves. Same "our dollars!!!" outrage that I saw when the US promised to build that port for Palestinian aid. Your political stances aren't about improving the world or the lives of people who are suffering. And you really tell on yourselves when you adopt this "build the (metaphorical) wall, stop giving our money and jobs to aliens" narrative, whether it's in regards to Mexico or the world at large.

Left-wing outrage over the "aid" port in Gaza has nothing to do with money and to do with it being a covert geopolitical move to further colonize Gaza with Israel-controlled infrastructure.

The conservative Democrats and Republicans who rallied for this weapons money literally were just trying to ban asylum and refugees out of the US immigration system. Your criticisms are incoherent and ignorant to the political realities of America you wish to comment on.

Genuinely you want to try and box any criticism over military spending as somehow connected to conservatism and similarly reactionary but your post makes you appear out of your depth in understanding the anti-war coalition in the US.

Aah yes, a blank check for war and the corporations but when it comes to helping actual regular Americans we just don't have the money!!!

This is why the GP hates the government. Why are we sending billions to other countries? No one wants to send billions to other countries while our own country needs improvement. Let them deal with their own ****.

How many billions have been sent to Ukraine at this point? It's absurd. And why would part of Israel's package be for humanitarian aid? Like, do you genuinely think they're going to use it for humanitarian purposes?
