GardenPanty Posted April 23 Posted April 23 I hope she has good people around her, she really needs support Her man is a deadbeat 4 1
X~MoviePoP Posted April 23 Posted April 23 From disney princess to this all within less than a year is wild to me. I hope ddg is keeping her as happy as she can be and i hope she continues her acting career because staying busy helps with depression as well.
The Next Day Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) My mother had postpartum depression, it was a huge battle for her. And she was a happy person (of course nowadays as well), so like all kinds of depression it can affect anyone, no matter who you are or where you are in life. Much respect to anyone having to overcome this! Edited April 23 by The Next Day 1
TitanicSurvivor Posted April 23 Posted April 23 Oh my god this is so dreadful hope she will get through it
Rose Posted April 23 Posted April 23 She's lucky. I can't think of anything scarier than bringing a child into the world and not having enough money to give them everything they need. I wouldn't be able to live with myself. 1 3 1

Batsy Armada Posted April 24 Posted April 24 You never know what someone may be going through, even through all of the glitz and the glam. I hope she has a very strong support system around her.
liquiddiamonds Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I had a friend that suffered from that right after her first baby, especially the severe body dysmorphia. Pregnancy can really reshape you and change the hormones. Then the routine changes drastically once the baby is home and in need of care. I don't think most mothers are ready, it's unknowns territory. At least she has money and a nice support system. Makes me wonder how much those comments about her ruining her career over the baby and her ready-made disney image might have hit her self-esteem too. She will pull through

Uncatena Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Postpartum mental health issues are still such a taboo topic for some reason so I think it's amazing that she is opening up about it. Wishing her all the best.
