Being introduced to The Chicks' music is what made her fall in love with country music. She was asked how "Blackbird" came to be and declined to answer. She basically said it's not her story to tell yet and that Beyonce may share the story later. I wouldn't be surprised if Beyonce asked the girls to agree to not talk about the specifics of how the song came together, and possibly sign NDAs. I like that she's getting some promo outside of the country scene. She needs it. Kind of reminds me of how Kacey found success outside of country radio.
