TTPD: THE ANTHOLOGY is one of the craziest things a pop girl has ever done. Agree?

No. The bar is on the floor

No that's Wendy Williams looking for any spilled drops of booze or liquor on the floor.

All I can say is Kim K really did a number on her if TS is still pressed after almost a decade.

Let's see how you feel when a man literally jumps on stage and steals your moment on a nationally televised award show and then tries to take credit for creating the myth behind your career and then he makes a song suggesting he wants to **** her and makes a music video that is basically revenge porn and his then ***** of a wife tries to make you look like a liar when that was never the case. You have no idea what you are talking about.

So when Beyoncé drops 4 more tracks on streaming compared to the physicals, she's scamming her fans. But when Taylor has 15 extra tracks on streaming compared to the physicals, it's legendary?

It's always the opposite day for some people :toofunny3: If the fans are happy with the vinyl lacking some of the best songs despite every website listing them in the tracklist then by all means celebrate it as a double release too.

It's not :deadbanana2:

The amount of fumes when Beyoncé dropped a masterpiece of a 27 track album and now some of y'all are trying to praise this!? I'm glad she extended the album, because truthfully bloated albums are a gift imo.

But I'm glad Beyoncé was able to be one of the first huge acts of this decade to release a long album first, so that when more artists do it, it's seen as a good thing rather than bad. I'm happy Taylor also took the same direction and did the same.

This is literally the equivalent of Nicki selling Pink Friday 2 Vinyls with only half the tracklist :rip:

Not Swifties having conniptions for weeks over Beyoncé supposedly scamming her fans only for Taylor to turn around and do it 5 times worse :deadbanana2:

i mean i'm happy she did it because the other part of the album is miles beyond in quality of what the first part served , but …. i mean she's low key done this with her past 3 releases. folklore-evermore was definitely intended as a 1,2 punch , she released 7 or 8 idk new songs immediately after releasing the standard edition of Midnights, and now this. it's certainly very nice, not exactly crazy .. just another one of her very successful tricks from her playbook

What is so crazy about it? She basically did the same for midnights?

Like…. Taylor already got all her fans to but 4 separate physical versions by making them think that each of them had 1 different/exclusive bonus track, only for her to then drop those bonus tracks on streaming anyway along with 11 other songs. So her fans will end up buying at least 5 (?) copies of the same album… she's robbing them blind.

Hasnt she done this before with Midnights?

Also, this is Nicki Minaj territory.

The irony being that Beyonce just shuffled around the tracklist and added a few tracks that probably weren't  cleared when Taylor was literally hiding an entire extra album she's going to force everyone to buy after forcing them to buy all 4 variants via more exclusive tracks. Honestly shameless.

Y'all love to discredit her simply because she is "overexposed" but how is this Chris Brown coded? Like be serious at least if you want to drag.

And the random vinyl discourse? Where was this even mentioned in the op of this thread :rip: I couldnt give af. This is a surprise double album so it makes sense theres no vinyl for it.

Hiding an album? Taylor literally shared the tracklist of the album beforehand with the vinyl pre order and made it clear that the vinyl would have a deluxe bonus track. This double album has nothing to do with the standard edition vinyl.  And this discussion is irrelevant to this thread honestly :rip:

The excuses. And it absolutely is relevant and as a Nicki fan you should know better because Nicki too was dragged when she had less than 50% of her album on the physicals. Taylor has done the same thing. The difference is Nicki and Bey didn't do it intentionally but rather because they had tracks that weren't yet conceived/ready when the physicals were produced. Whereas Taylor has been much more calculated about it and knew from the start that she would do this. It's deceptive to fans. She could have put these songs on the physicals but purposely chose not to. So fans will now need to buy a 5th version of the album to have the complete album.

No. I said that the double album is different than the standard edition which is true. The standard edition's tracklist was announced beforehand so this discourse makes no sense.

im pretty sure whats really behind these moves is that, 30 songs wouldve needed 2 or 3 vinyl and CD discs to fit, and that wouldve been much costlier to produce, so might as well only release half of them on streaming an digital. even though "so high school" shouldve been with the discs.
