I hope Challengers is a success for Zendaya because this is the kind of project that will establish her as a leading lady and get her out of the supporting roles she's stuck in

If it doesn't match No Hard Feelings' success it will kind of feel like she is hyped on social media with nothing to back it up

She will be getting casted in lead or supporting lead roles for years to come just off Dune alone.  Sydney actually needs to be in a major blockbuster, she has more to prove at this point than Zendaya.

Lmao, Zendaya is an A-lister. She is a box office draw. A flop movie or two won't negate that.

"Hyped on social media"... meanwhile she has the accolades to back it up.

Excited to see this movie. Celestine wouldn't lie :clap3: My two faves

This is already false. Euphoria was a huge hit and she won 2 Emmy's for it. And doesn't Challengers have like 98% on RT? It's already a success for her and for Luca (who never makes blockbusters)

Euphoria isn't a hit because of Zendaya

Zendaya's place in Euphoria is similar to Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones. She is the fact of the show, but fans watch it for different people and not just one person.

RT score doesn't mean the GP will pay to watch the movie too

People went to cinema to see Sydney in a pedestrian romcom, I think she's good. She doesn't need a blockbuster to prove herself in any case. She's a producer on both of her last two theatrical releases. I love Z, but let's not.

Except Z is the sole lead on Euphoria and she brought the viewers from season 1. She was the only star on the show back then.
Game of Thrones was launched with Sean Bean as the lead, not Emilia
