Not him saying Enchanted is his least favorite track on Speak Now. I'm losing faith in humanity at this point :deadbanana2:

Seriously?? How the HELL can anyone put Evermore last in her discography? :deadbanana4:

I can understand people having their own favorite albums/songs but sometimes people can just be objectively wrong about stuff :toofunny3:

That guy sounds like a contrarian honestly :toofunny3:

Enchanted also isn't my favorite on Speak Now but it sure as f*ck isn't my least fave :toofunny3:

That intro set my expectations way too high, that his first reveal felt like a slap in the face and made me realize what type of swiftie he is :dies:

I'm not watching that and I'm scared to ask, but how did they rank them?

The New York Times people have such weird taste when it comes to Taylor :deadbanana4:

I refuse to listen on principle so idk if he's one of the people but I vividly remember Jon Caramanica (or whoever) being mad about folklore because he liked pop Taylor, and then he gave it a shitty review and score :deadbanana4:

Like please ******* imagine thinking Lover is a better album than folklore :deadbanana4:

Even here with our... variety in tastes, I think we can all agree that that's just false :gaycat6:

After listening, their takes were…mostly pretty bad. :deadbanana2:

Their assessments of Debut, Fearless, and Speak Now were pretty spot on (minus the complete dismissal of TWILY and the Enchanted hate, which are both wild) and it was nice to see those three get some love, but their takes on every other album were just…wrong. :deadbanana2:

Like, not them admitting that Red is incredibly disjointed but still ranking it so high. :dies:

And honestly, not having Lover and Rep as the bottom two should've been the first sign that these rankings would be a…choice.

Every single Taylor album has one of those overlooked songs that i absolutely fall in love with but that most of the fanbase seems to ignore. For example i ADORE Epiphany but most Swifties don't seem to care about it :monkey:

Oooh I really love epiphany  it was one of the songs I adored it from the first listened, even if it doesn't hit as hard now. I will always remember that feeling listening to it as I was driving to a military hospital I was rotating on those pandemic months.

Epiphany is one of my favorite songs she's ever done but it seems everyone hates it :rip:

Hey, then again, I also love INTHAF. Seems like I love most of the unpopular songs on her albums. Labyrinth, happiness, it's time to go, peace, So It Goes, ICFHNRIC, Robin, The Manuscript, etc… :bam:

I think some of y'all have moved on too quickly :suburban:

I won't name any names but I also know some of y'all have been really good about respecting the fact that there's a new album that everyone wants to talk about and therefore have made a concerted effort to suppress the fact that this song is basically 1/2 of your entire personality on this website, but really I think we should be celebrating greatness:gaycat4:

Lowkey would've slotted right in to the Anthology, a classic :gaycat4:

Epiphany and Carolina are both A+ songs, love to see the stanning. :clap3:

I also tend to love/like a lot of the unpopular or overlooked songs: Untouchable, Coney Island, Dorothea, Eyes Open, Don't You, Superman, Cassandra, Innocent, Invisible, Sweeter Than Fiction, Today Was A Fairytale, etc.

This one has been climbing my ranking of the album pretty quickly lately. I love the ambiance/imagery it creates, and delulu Taylor is one of the best (and the realization that she is at the last moment is so rewarding).

Sometimes I just re-read the TTPD epilogue and gag, like damn this is kind of her most compelling album narratively :WAP:
