I don't appreciate the desire to listen to other music but then you get the craving to listen to one of the songs on Tortured Poets so you go to that song instead and end up listening to the entire thing on repeat.

how we'll never hear state of grace, treacherous, holy ground, & sad beautiful tragic in the red set because of her singles will leave me haunted for eternity. i don't think the gp/casual listeners understand they're not even hearing the best songs on that album during the red set

People looovvveee Max but his songs are the worse on Red. Period.

Went for a 3rd round on this album - some tracks have definitely started to click for me. Some I kinda felt neutral about have grown a bit for me. Although it is still a bit too early to tell if the album will rise in my discography ranking.

I think even a month in the album is comfortably sitting in that #2 position. I've mentioned evermore has a sentimental comfort to it that I don't see TTPD toppling. But it's got an amazing blend of my #3 and #4 albums (Red and folklore), that keeps it at #2 as a hybrid of the highest nature. Speak Now solidly at #5.

 

Midnights and rep kinda bounce back and forth between 6 & 7, they're both my favorite pop albums from her.

 

Fearless & 89 rotate between 8 and 9 (wait) because they both are extremely polished, and basically no filler - all killer for her country & pop discogs, but they can just fall short of the better versions of themselves that came later in her discography.
 

Lover at 10 only because the vocals (and technically SOME of the writing) are stronger than debut, but debut TV may escape #11 and overtake it once I get those elevated vocals and vault tracks.

I mean I can't be bothered to check for the men but Adele has 2 genre and 2 AOTY so the odds are pretty high that she's the only artist with more GF album wins (since there are so many GF album categories nnn) than genre album wins
