was pleasantly surprised by this, only songs I don't like are fire, live forever, and never made a moment. I wish this was doing better I would love for her to keep making music.

trinity -

1. gonna find out (should of been lead)

2. lying to myself

3. Love ain't easy

edit - after a second listen I like fire and live forever actually. Still don't really like never made a moment

I don't think commercial success is expected nor desired with this album. I think we'll get plenty more albums from her.

well i love her voice but i don't like the album as much as i hoped, the pop songs are very generic and too many ballads

A bit too late but I finally got around to listening to this album  :gaycat4:

I'm honestly blown away. This is a solid offering:alexz: It sounds like something your parents listened to and danced around to while you did the weekend chores, growing up. It sounds like something you would put on while driving around town. Great replay value and the 80s and 90s influences are really strong. I don't know if I'm reaching but her execution of those influences sounds more genuine compared to today's young popstars attempting to crank out the same 80s/90s sounds. I guess it shouldn't be surprising since she's a child of those eras. The emotional connection is there. My only gripe is I wish there were more upbeat tracks but I love it nonetheless. :heart2:

I hope this isn't her only album :jonny:

Touch The Light is my highlight, but that outro is far too long. Also, where is the final chorus? :chick3:
