Looks like it will be going into affect soon. Will ATRL be paying or not?

The ultimate dummy detector. :deadbanana4: If I see a blue checkmark, I immediately ignore that's person's opinion (or straight-up block them). It doesn't matter what they said.

Too bad they're not public anymore and they don't have to announce user growth during their quarterly earning calls

You are the only real user. Ryan just added a bunch of bots so you didn't feel lonely online.

They tried to repair the blue check reputation, a lot of the people who lost their blue checks when Elon took over got them back for free :dies:

At first it was strictly only people with over 1 million followers, now it's smaller creators too just randomly without having to apply for it.

But now it's kinda embarrassing to have it even for free

Yea right, that's the ONLY way :toofunny3:

I think with this, twitter X really will go down with the years

Paywalls don't deter bots. Half of the twitter blue users are bots.

I mean you can get a lot of people to pay for anything these days including delivering food that's a couple of steps away from their door.

The onslaught of bots never happened until "he" took over. Yet my account got suspended permanently, without warning, and appeals won't even listening to me. Plus, they got rid of "+" emails.

Imagine actually paying money to use Twitter. :lmao:

not even that. imagine using Twitter in 2024... the platform whose CEO tweets out xenophobic, racists, homophobic and transphobic memes on a weekly basis. atp anyone using that platform knows what they're getting into.

Well, I made a semi-new private account several months ago, and you're no longer required to link your mobile number, and if you get that suspicious behavior thing, you just have to solve an easy puzzle that I'm sure bots can solve at this point, too. But why hire new people to reinstate better measures, right? Let's profit off an easily fixed issue.

I'm surprised Twitter/X is still a thing, honestly. I stopped using it not long after his takeover of it, not that I was even that active on there to begin with.
