Directors send her scripts and try to get her to star in their films. Not the other way around. 3. She is clearly a box office draw. House of Gucci had all the makings of a box office bomb -- non-superhero, adult drama released during the pandemic; too long; RT score verging on rotten. But she managed to make it a commercial success through her own star power. 4.
