Drake sampled Ellie on Pound Cake. Since Future's whole album is a Drake diss, it'd be next-level pettiness if the choice of sampling Ellie was intentional. Obviously a reach tho.

Wait you're right. This actually kind of makes sense. Would've been more on the nose if they sampled "Pound Cake" but I guess they didn't want to be directly compared to drake's and get dragged. So they a subtle drag instead wow genius
