My first boyfriend was in Wiccan (he went to classes for it and everything) and when he started to have a schizo-induced manic Psychosis, he came home and told me his teacher told him he needs to purge all the negative spirits in his life, then he broke up with me and nearly burnt his house down because he started a bonfire inside to cleanse everybody. 
 

After he was taken to the psych ward I tried to contact this teacher of his and she kept ignoring my texts, calls, ******* everything, and was just left to deal with it. 
 

6 months later we had officially split and he went back to learn from this woman, who had no actual care for him or his mental health and just started filling his head with dangerous ideas again. 
 

He had a severe mental illness and these people who are all about "healing, spiritual energy, community" completely distanced themselves from me and him during this time and then pounced on his vulnerability when he was recovering. **** that. 
 

She was just using him to make bank and I will forever be disgusted by people like her.

People in both the religious and astrological communities seem to subconsciously manifest endless catastrophe through fear mongering. It's always been a problem, but it's getting way out of control with social media. Whatever it is that caused her to do that was rooted in being chronically online one way or the other. Just horrific.

People who take this stuff seriously are ****ing insane.  The alignment of stars and planets in the sky, which is literally an outdated picture of what *was* there hundreds, thousands, and millions of years ago, has nothing to do with you.  

 

This woman's mental issues definitely weighed on her to make this decision, but her spiritual religion or whatever you want to call it definitely helped push her over the edge to murder her own family.  Disgusting.

The people who are taking this opportunity to speak ill of a belief system are missing the bigger picture. 

 

This isn't about astrology, it's about psychosis and mental illness. This woman could've been Christian, Islamic, Jewish, etc and she would have reacted the same way because it was her brain that led her to do this, not a belief system. The belief system is just an excuse. 

 

America has a severe problem when it comes to mental health that it does not want to treat so we all continue to treat each other like dog **** and kill each other while the government gets away with our oppression. It's very sad.

Rest in peace to the victims, but yes—this election cycle is going to be vicious. I think it's going to be uglier than 2016's and more cutthroat than 2020's. There needs to be an actual infrastructure in place to address and handle mental illness. It's not talked about enough. We can't keep having instances like this. From what it sounds like, there were red flags popping up all over. I know people never want to believe the worst about those they claim to be in love with, or are otherwise involved with, but I definitely would have been giving her the side-eye and looking for someone to call. I read things like this, and I just don't trust people the way I used to. You can tell the difference between someone poking harmless fun at a popular topic and them, literally, suffering from a psychosis.

A lot of mediums and psychics or mystics are just people with psychosis that's either been diagnosed and their ignoring it or undiagnosed. It's all fun and games until it isn't.
