Without reading this thread, I never got around to watching the 2nd season. Is it worth it or should I just skip?

HBO Max tends to kill off the teen reboots they put forward for clout when they first launched. I knew this was coming, was even surprised this spin-off got a 2nd season given PLL's history prior. 

 

Unless there's an OC reboot in the next few years, not sure which other ones they can bring back from the dead. And OTH is sitting with Netflix.

Season 1 was passable (barely) but the writing and acting in 2 was literally unacceptable and embarrassing. Faran was the only one acting down episode after episode, and Kelly was fine as well but given almost no material. 
 

not surprised this was canned, as they did the same thing w Gossip Girl reboot. The episode with the pride party at the pool hamfisted in was truly where I realized "okay I don't care if this gets cancelled" (and I am a member of the LGBTQ community)

 

crazy though that this is the third spinoff of the original to get cancelled without making it to a third season

They also were going to do degrassi, but it was cancelled before even making it to series. They need to stick to putting out Euphoria instead of these tax write off schemes
