Popular Post Thesedays Posted April 9 Popular Post Share Posted April 9 To be quite honest, there is something really chilling and downright horrifying in a pop star never supporting any meaningful reform for healthcare access in the US or never actually meaningfully engaging with this topic but accepting tens of millions of dollars from big pharma for promoting a $900 medicine. The optics of that truly are terrible and show Gaga not being much of a great person despite making ~acceptance and allyship~ such big parts of her public image. I actually saw the ad about a month ago in a survey, but didn't mention it because I wasn't sure if I was allowed to talk about it at the time. But I had a feeling the ad wouldn't go down well.
