Y'all it okay for fans to be disappointed and express their feelings. It is not a crime. This notion you can't be unhappy, provide constructive criticism, or disappointed with any of this or tinashe it ludicrous and insane.

I am all for constructive criticism. You've definitely been one of the posters here that provides it and I've always supported your posts.

But PLEASE point to where:

a) I wrote that you can't have an opinion or be disappointed

b) there is constructive criticism in stating that someone is never being able to win

I would love for Tinashe to be #1. But if it doesn't happen, I'm not going to dwell on and go down the list of all the things I identify as "bad". That doesn't mean she hasn't made it. I have never expressed 100% satisfaction with her branding and marketing, but I'd love to see more be done.

Would she benefit from a productive team with a well thought out roll out for her singles and album? Yes!

Could she choose her singles and endorsement deals better? Yes!

I also understand that even if these things happen, it may or may not give her the attention and support she deserves. I see her as a success, not a failure. I see her as resilient, not lazy. #199 is not going to stop her. She will continue!

However, I've adjusted my expectations due to her being an independent artist. FUNDING and SUPPORT TEAM is ultimately what many of the things we want comes down to. Just because we don't see the results on the charts based on what stan culture tells us is acceptable doesn't give you all the right to be negative and constantly look for something to criticize even when good things are happening for her. I never intend to invalidate someone's feelings and suggestions and I apologize to anyone that has felt attacked.

It's unfortunate that you all are experiencing disappointment and I wish you all could celebrate and enjoy the moment. But that's just the difference between us and if I disagree with something you all feel moving forward, I promise not to comment on it.

Thanks!

Why does she pass of EPs as albums?

To continuously putting records she said that it was planned that the EPs all came in one album but we know that she's independent and doesn't always have budget to release an album every time so she split the album in different part so she would  have 3 different eras with just one album

Saying she can truly never win is dramatic.

Many of you that post here are incessantly negative.

Or we just want her to get all the flowers that she deserves? Either way she's proven that she will be successful and put out great art, but after Nasty a lot of us wanted QB to have a bigger moment than this. That's not negative dude lol.

Okay. I was talking about other folks that get upset whenever someone point anything that not overly positive. Tinashe is successful in her own way but she could be more successful and make money from her arts instead of losing money with each project or tour.  She is successful and I am proud of her, but how long she will be to sustain this? Especially if she keep losing money? I was completely over any type of chart success before nasty, I still don't care about it to be honest. I see potential for couple moderate hits in the future, if she and her team move smart and effectively. She can be commercially successful (in her own way ofc, I don't think she will ever be commercially successful in the general sense nor do she or I care for it) and artistically successful as well. Everything she and yall saying is great but in the long run and sometimes in the distant (hopefully) future will she able to afford to keep giving us quality she has been giving. As long as she can I am happy. I just wish she would have bigger budget and the ability to spend more time in her producing the best output, performances and such. I just wish she could reach her full potential. If doesn't I am happy regardless.

The best thing we can do at the moment is just keep creating hype/tweets around No Broke Boys. Radio has already jumped on board & we've got some cute playlisting.

Album has bops + we got tour and prt3 right around the corner

Commercial success might  be the wrong word but she can have occasional mainstream success in her own ways. Either way let end this discussion and try to promote and request NBB. Our fanbase is small but just with nasty I think we can do so some great things. Let get get NBB where it needs to be, if we don't do our part these discussion are pointless and endless. NBB being successful is just going to get us a lot closer to where we wants to be.

Like can yall imagine two moderate hits in one era???? We've never had that before so let's push where we can :heart2:

Heck we might even get a decent feature on NBB this time!

Your point about sustainability is legit. Because while we don't know the ins and out of the business, making a return on investment is key to her capacity of continuing to create music in the long term.

But also, as an independent artist, she's fully investing in herself and taking a risk to continue to create. There are other ways that she can continue to monetize her art and I hope she'll be able to expand on what she's already doing as she does have a vast skill set and network.

I wonder who is on her team though and what their plan is moving forward. Can't just rely on talent and quality, there also has to be strategy and funds to make some noise!

I wouldn't worried about the VMA they are **** anyway.  I can't believe they have Anita (love ha no shade) performing 3 years in a row when her biggest song was 3 years ago and peak#70.  None of her album including her last even charted. I am talking about her us stats. I hope she stay her ass home.  Not one R&B or R&Bpop girl.

Yeah the vmas are very much giving 2015's lineup this year. Unless they're throwing her the tiniest of bones (the pre show performance slot - which would still be insulting). Let her stay home. The tweets calling out how she and other R&B/Pop girls should've been invited will be all over social media anyway that night.

They're on YouTube but they don't show up when you search. Maybe somebody bring this up to her management if they have her on socials?

Anitta brings in rating/views from her Brazilian fans since she's big here. Unfortunately that's the reason why. It's sad that it's very transparent what the VMA's motives are (or any other award show these days).

i don't think her team can do anything? this is an issue i've been seeing with the way youtube has been changing things to "clean things up". the videos are there but they don't show up under videos anymore. you have to go to the channel and click the releases tab.

speaking of youtube tho, she has a hidden video now in the quantum baby playlist

I think charting at #199 is kind of iconic and y'all need to stop pocket watching the queen. If you're so worried, grab some merch or an extra copy of the album!
