glitch Posted April 8 Posted April 8 To summarise: MPG Julie Ragbeer paid for a tweet in 2019 to promote her music and then paid again for PopCrave to retweet it. Since she recently went viral she noticed the tweet had since been deleted. She's reached out to them to ask why this is and if she can get her money back but they're ignoring her. She was only 19 when she paid for the original tweet and said she spent most of her money on the tweet. 2 1
Delirious Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) All im gonna say is i had a very bad experience with the owner. He's not a good person and I said what I said. He uses you and abuses your kindness and then when you ask for something back, they say you need to pay for it. PS. Popcrave stop stealing tweets challenge. It's literally 2024 and youve been doing it like 10 years now Follow @PopBase @poptingz etc instead Edited April 8 by Delirious 11 1 1
Delirious Posted April 8 Posted April 8 (edited) Oh btw one of the ex admins of PopCrave aka Jasmine or whatever had a nightmare working with the owner (cause she wanted some incentive for working on the account for free) so he ended up kicking her out of the account just like that lol Edited April 8 by Delirious

Princess Aurora Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Who's that and is Pop Crave a real person? I thought it was a bot account 1 1
Maestro Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Why would she get a refund for a 2019 Tweet being deleted? That is pretty commonplace for paid ads. It wouldn't be getting any impressions anymore anyway 4
Popular Post kelsea Posted April 8 Popular Post Posted April 8 What a shame - I was recently thinking about going to PopCrave's 2019 tweets and seeing what unknown artists they posted so I could find some new music. 1 29
Leppie Posted April 8 Posted April 8 She wants a refund because they deleted a tweet from 5 years ago 2 1

Walk_Away21 Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Expose this fraud account Julie I remember them being on Scooter's payroll and getting exposed years ago. Also Julie is understanding the assignment. Her video has me yelling. 1
Saint James Posted April 8 Posted April 8 any of yall paying for tweets and things... i encourage you to make better life choices
Chemist Posted April 8 Posted April 8 The expose in this thread Popbase has always been superior anyway 2
Sannie Posted April 8 Posted April 8 She must not have paid a lot if they were willing to refund so easily since they did not have to refund. Hopefully these days they have a contract people need to sign lol. When you buy a billboard ad, do you expect that ad to stay up in perpetuity? Of course not.
EnterTheAttic Posted April 8 Posted April 8 She seems very sweet! Amd she's right. She paid for it, they shouldn't have deleted it.
toxicgenie Posted April 9 Posted April 9 (edited) Looks like she might get her money back. Good for her. On another note, this just shows how a lot of promo works BTS. Hopefully some fans that swear their fave doesn't do any promo catch a clue. Edited April 9 by toxicgenie
popmusicisdead Posted April 9 Posted April 9 (edited) you're telling me she already paid Pop Crave in 2019 but she only went viral this year with Pop Tingz(i think?) Edited April 9 by popmusicisdead
