Bey'Knight Posted April 9 Posted April 9 So much for drowning out the voices if black artists huh. Someone send this to that contrarian hater. 5
Triton Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Almost 1/4th of the chart is hers! 11 Top 40 hits off an album. 1
Bacardo Royale Posted April 9 Posted April 9 wow 3 in the top 10 Bodyguard, Levi Jeans and Daughter future smashes 1
BnPac Posted April 9 Posted April 9 So Beyoncé gave a Hot 100 entry to the following black artists : - Linda Martell (a legend and trailblazer having just now her first ever chart entry) - Shaboozey - Tanner Adell - Britney Spencer - Tierra Kennedy - Reina Roberts - Willy Jones - Rumi Carter Yet clueless people will say "she doesn't do enough to uplift black people". Anyway congrats B. 3
Lovett Posted April 9 Posted April 9 10 hours ago, Both Sides Now said: Top 40 HIT Daughter IKTR I'm guessing there's an appearance of every song that was eligible to chart? EDIT: Seems like it; Smoke Hour I & II, Dolly P and The Linda Martell Show didn't chart. It's interesting that Oh Louisiana (52 seconds) charted but Smoke Hour I (50 seconds) didn't. BB must be, understandably, making judgement calls on what is a song and what isn't. Yes, these were the only songs eligible. The other four were ineligible to chart.
PrudenceHCharmed Posted April 9 Posted April 9 6 top ten hits this decade alone. Hopefully she release Levi's and Bodyguard as a single and get more top tens. Crazy that a decade ago she struggle to have one top ten but this decade she's been collecting them like crazy. 3
