QueenBeyoncé Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 Quote Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album has not just been a hit among music enthusiasts but has also sparked a global fashion movement. Her promotional tactics, including visually striking Instagram posts, have led to a surge in online searches for iconic Western wear items, demonstrating the direct impact of celebrity influence on consumer behavior and fashion trends. Quote Flared Jeans: A 372% global search increase, triggered by a promotional Instagram post from Beyoncé on March 25, 2024. Denim Vest: Searches rose by 105% worldwide, inspired by Beyoncé's double denim social media appearance. Double Denim: Experiencing a revival with searches peaking at 126% globally this month. Women's Cowboy Boots: Saw a 176% rise in global searches in anticipation of the album. Dalston Mill Fabrics notes Beyoncé's significant impact on both music and fashion, with a 333% spike in searches for "Beyoncé's fashion" over the past five years, indicating her western-inspired style is more influential than even her iconic Renaissance tour Quote Beyoncé's embrace of country is changing the idea of what western wear can look like and who wears it — helping to catalyze a broadening of a consumer base that's historically excluded people of colour. Brands that specialise in cowboy boots, belts and denim are generally taking a cautious approach to their latest moment in the spotlight — hoping to avoid western wear becoming the next coastal grandmother or mob wife. Fast-fashion brands are eagerly capitalising on the trend with retailers like Forever 21 logging sales jumps that align with Beyoncé's every fashion-forward move. https://www.businessoffashion.com/articles/marketing-pr/beyonces-impact-on-western-wear/ Quote Trendalytics data obtained by Fashionista shows a 400% increase in interest for cowboy hats compared to a year ago, while Klarna reported that purchases for "rhinestone cowboy hats" have soared by 331%. when Queen Bey announced "Cowboy Carter" during the Super Bowl, Google searches for "cowboy hat" surged more than 212% worldwide, clothing retailer Boohoo reported to Footwear News. Searches for "cowboy boots" and "bolo tie" have skyrocketed by 163% and 566% respectively, according to Boohoo, as TikTokers have boasted Bey-inspired western attire in their wardrobes mere months after retiring their chrome, brimmed hats worn to the singer's Renaissance tour. shyboi Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 is the fashion impact in the room with us right now?
Saintlor Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I'm not sure if this is Beyonce's impact. This feels like how with fashion shows, all brands in a season have similar themed clothes and the same it color It's mostly that magazines have declared this to be in and everyone followed suit

Comedor Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 The he/she/they/it were all dressing up in silver for RWT, it was a fashion movement.
QueenBLadyG Posted April 5, 2024 Posted April 5, 2024 I still can't believe anyone would try and question Beyoncé as a fashion icon, especially after the Renaissance tour looks ate any attempt at costumes, and each and every fashion house was tripping over themselves to have her wear their creations. Bitter homos aren't indicative of realistic perceptions. I have to keep reminding myself. 1
