She's the moment. She's being swamped in the streets of Japan by middle school students all the time, everyone's talking about her here :rip:

Love Devin, is she really this famous in Asia? I'm scared for her, they nearly trampled her.

I might be but if she was important enough I'd find out regardless.

This has to be the most confusing but delightful ascend to fame I have seen in a while. I'm truly happy for her, she seems like such a sweet soul and deserves the adoration she's receiving.

Imagine a Japanese person just filming themselves going "sushi please, tea please, water please" :rip:

anyway it made it to Japanese TikTok and it became a huge Gen Alpha meme and all the elementary / middle school kids started quoting it CONSTANTLY due to the funny voice she uses when saying it. Here's a Japanese person recreating it

Again it's literally just basic Japanese words. It blew up and people saw her around Japan and she started getting mobbed by kids wanting to be in her video :ahh: so iconic. Even I've been saying it constantly lol

I know that video went viral but I didn't understand why and didn't think it was to that extent. Happy for her regardless!
