illia Posted June 30 Author Posted June 30 10 hours ago, BNF91 said: Dune Messiah getting the lucrative Christmas 2026 slot is incredible The same window that The Force Awakens had in 2015 with Xmas Day and Boxing Day being on the perfect weekdays (Fri/Sat) for maximum box office. Plus three full weekends of holidays. The best possible holiday setup. Billion coming Realistically, Dune is not Dune without getting at least one pushback
NoAngelus Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I'm currently reading the first book, and I hope I'll read this one some time next year. I'm excited, part 2 really got into my veins and I am so invested now in this universe. Although Messiah is really short and I read fan opinion online that it's not exciting book.

illia Posted October 18 Author Posted October 18 (edited) Denis Villeneuve says that his "break" is over and that he will "go back behind the camera faster than I think" to film the third instalment of his "deep" immersion into Frank Herbert's Dune universe. Villeneuve says the central players returning for Dune: Messiah are Timothée Chalamet as Atreides; Zendaya as the Fremen tribal warrior Chani, who tries to guide him; and Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy. I push him for more and refer him to a conversation we had last year when he marked late 2025 or early 2026 as possible start dates for Dune: Messiah. He murmurs "2026," then looks perplexed. "These movies take a lot of time to be made, so it's best not to say out loud when I might shoot," he says as he looks up to see his longtime publicist Bebe Lerner from ID PR, who has strategically placed herself in his eye-line. "Unfortunately, I'm supposed to shut up," he says, laughing. publikcitizen Posted Wednesday at 10:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:12 PM Oh damn Linus is a good get. Messiah will definitely be visually stunning
Luminary Posted Wednesday at 10:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:33 PM I hope Denis finds a way to incorporate more of Lady Jessica, I mean she's really that badass b*tch in the universe and Rebecca Ferguson is sooo good
