This is a song that came from the darkest depths of depression after I had a brain injury four years ago that totally changed the course of my 20s (I'm a lot better now thank goodness), and somehow it turned into my favourite thing I've ever done. I think I drew from a lot more than that subconsciously though. Struggling with  sexuality, self-image, my own habit of getting in my way and self-sabotaging. I think a lot of feel like we have something wrong with us that we can't name. Maybe the first step in getting better is trying to figure it out. Or maybe I just wrote a pop song and I'm thinking too deep. Either way, my dear Little Rodents, I hope you enjoy. Much much much more coming this year including a big crazy exciting thing that will take me many places, let's just say that, but more on that later.

There were discussions about radio in Canada when I got signed, it depends on streaming numbers though, I think with new artists like me they want that to be at a certain level before they go to commercial radio. I have received quite a bit of airplay on independent and college radio stations though so if you live near one you can definitely request the song. That said, this song is doing waaay better than any of my other singles on the first day, I think we might get to 1,000 first day streams on Spotify with zero playlisting which is amazing for me  Keep streaming, sharing with your friends, adding to playlists if you like the track, it all adds up
