This is one of those things that you keep in your head and don't ever say

The world that she's speaking is only in her mind.

It could maybe work if she did not look like an actual Nickelodeon villain with these new style choices.

She STILL serves teenager.

She'd have to be able to at least sing first before the world (her makeup artists) can compare her to anyone :deadbanana4:

Maybe she's not old enough to remember what everyone thought of Miley during Bangerz :skull:

Which one of her team is lying to her

Lmao sad. If anything, JoJo is entering her "Cant Be Tamed" era because her edgy "Im not a kid anymore" approach is still extremely disney/nickelodean-ified.

If she really wants to have her bangerz era, she needs to be taking shots and smoking cigarettes naked.

she's not ready for her bangerz era

this is reputation levels of edgy and that's more than fine

Let her find her way.

why does someone who should know better than anyone who still managed to abuse young girls for a quick buck (XOMG Pop) deserve our sympathy or patience?

I'll never forget when I was going to the beach and she drove up next to us, she literally has a Lamborghini SUV with JOJO SIWA written on it in MS paint font and a picture of her on the side :rip: :rip:

Because holding someone accountable for their wrong doings is different than dragging down a 20 year old with some of the things I've been seeing.

As someone that has watched her career and followed her life, she has been exploited since birth by her mother, and the abusers she defends. Being surrounded in that environment your whole life, that's going to seem normal to you. She doesn't even see her own abuse as abuse, and thinks she deserved the way Abby treated her. That's not to say she can't change, and absolutely call her out (I have), but what does everything else have to do with it?

Will breaking down her self esteem make her realize she's continuing a cycle of abuse? Does calling someone any of the things I have seen about her on social media lately make a person think "maybe I should rethink my choices in life"?

No one is entitled to like her, she's done sh*tty things and I don't pretend she doesn't, but the relentless bullying is just that. It's not holding her accountable. And it's been her life since she was a child. There's a better way to do it, such as the informative videos that have been coming out.

Is this the moment she is talking about??

that's fair, I agree that she'd be better ignored than hated on

Yes Bangerz was Miley's polarizing era that had its share of cringe moments, but it's also when she really started gaining respect in the industry as a legit artist?
