Sorry but this is insane. I've never once heard anyone use Sam Smith's voice to make an AI cover/song. They should not feel threatened over something there's no demand for anyways.

AI can't create ****, it just repurposes. "Art" without the human element isn't art, it's content.

Music has become so devalued that people don't even feel guilty for stealing from artists. Stan Twitter just makes it into a joke.

It's all about the way the technology is used. The problem is that humans have proven themselves incapable on making the right decisions, and AI has already been used for bad. I'm with the artists on this one.

Yeah AI's getting a bit out of hand imo. There's some AI generated Britney music videos out there that legitimately look real and it's actually sort of creepy how far AI has advanced in the past year or so. I don't blame artists for being upset about their artistry being mimicked by a machine.

Could you imagine what Britney's horrendous former team would have done with AI had it been as advanced during Britney Jean or Femme Fatale as it is now?

It's so bizarre how a forum devoted to music always clowns musicians when they try to take a stand against bad industry practice. I don't want a world ruled by AI media. Call me insane or optimistic, but maybe this is actually a good thing and being a jaded prick on the internet isnt warranted in every single case.
