While AI is certainly bad for many reasons, in this field, only a one trick pony would feel threatened by it…

Tbh how has AI harmed the music industry and these artists making millions? I can't pretend to know.

A lot of people are going to make fun of Camilla, Katy or Nicki but the fact is, a lot of the people that signed this are indie artists, struggling artists or artists that understand the struggle to make music for living.

I saw this clip of Yg Marley playing an unreleased AI Travis Scott x Drake track he created and it sounds exactly like them

I wish it was real because it's a banger but yeah..when the public figures out how to do this with their faves... it's SO over. :rip:

What the hell is wrong with yall? So hyperfocused on the names attached. Can yall have a serious conversation for once? Nicki's use of AI is even further evidence that action should be taken. PF2 rollout was garbage.

It's so bizarre how a forum devoted to music always clowns musicians when they try to take a stand against bad industry practice. I don't want a world ruled by AI media. Call me insane or optimistic, but maybe this is actually a good thing and being a jaded prick on the internet isnt warranted in every single case.

The anti-AI fear mongering is giving medieval village idiot. But some of these names should be scared! What would they know about an assault on creativity when many of them have no creativity to speak of - a few already act like robots. Ex: Zayn is a trend hopping, risk averse copycat with no unique POV. R&B was the it genre & he did that. Sad white ppl guitar music like Noah K & Boygenius is having a moment so now he's flip flopped to early 2010s corporate indie teas. The greed masquerading as concern for art is so transparent. They had their fun but they need to read the writing on the wall - some of them are celebrities, not creatives, and if they're made redundant.. oh well? It's not like they're standing up against automation in other industries where workers are compensated far less for their work & receive way less glory. They need to stop pitying themselves & step up their craft. Anybody truly creative is at 0 risk of being replaced
