Facelessboy Posted April 16 Posted April 16 It's wild that even Flo a unknown group is doing better than her what on earth is going on

Who is this appealing to? RnB singers' biggest audience are women, this turns them off. She should have started with a cute girl-next-door image and work herself to raunchy after she has an established fanbase. 4

Jude Posted April 16 Posted April 16 How is she only doing less than 100K daily on Spotify? There's no fpcking way.

Pivoting towards RnB is what made her lose her hype. Every single on of her so called flop singles from raunchy era was still more commercially successful than the in pieces songs. She gave people the "girl next door" with In Pieces and still got dragged. Boy Bye and FYS also fit that but that hasn't changed the complaints no need to appeal to people who will never be interested in her Edited April 16 by Dottie Hinkle
Binxstan Posted April 16 Posted April 16 This is her best song in a while. I honestly think it's flopping due to her image. The whole over sexual thing seemed really forced, she's younger than SZA but gives me auntie vibes. Her outfits at Coachella were definitely choices..
Dottie Hinkle Posted April 16 Posted April 16 For all the criticism chloe gets what's the justification for her songs never getting sent to the radio when other artists who perform the same get that (Coco Jones, Doechii). Even before water blew up Tyla's label sent been thinking to the radio 1
Scandalous Posted April 16 Posted April 16 i don't think the sexualness is the issue, i think it's that it seems so inauthentic for her and people aren't buying it 1
X~MoviePoP Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I just think have mercy was a great start and she cracked under pressure and the whole re-work the album thing caused her to flop 3

I hope they learnt their lesson because they lost her a lot of hype. They didn't even capitalize off of have mercy properly by making a remix with a bigger artist
toast Posted April 16 Posted April 16 For the Night really should've been the 3rd single Hopefully Columbia will give this a push after Coachella weekend 2. She already has a touring-base as shown during the In Pieces tour + the potential for her to gain pop fans is still there if this is how the music is sounding. She's too fun for pure r&b anyway 1

ATRL Moderator khalyan Posted April 16 ATRL Moderator Posted April 16 This is so good? I didn’t check it out when it first released because all her previous songs aren’t good for me, but this is so different and such a good listen! Why aren’t they pushing this more? 2
Europe Posted April 16 Posted April 16 She has to release 2/3 more songs of this caliber before people warm up to her again. Her image is beyond destroyed and that damage is not fixed overnight.
EarStyle Posted April 16 Posted April 16 This could be one of those songs where once it's sent radio and there's some proper promo over time it can be a moderate hit. give it time. 3 1
