It's kind of scary how much 10s music has disappeared. Lots of music from smaller artists has disappeared due to re-branding, leaving a label, legal issues or just negligence. Plus the amount of tracks that never made it past soundcloud is wild.

When did Brent Faiyaz come out? I've noticed he's blown up on TikTok over the last few years but he also seems to have a huge international audience. A guy I follow who lives in Belgium constantly remixes his songs with techno beats. It's kinda cool but Brent is smart because it seems like he's constantly churning out new material.

 

Outside of Don't, I don't really follow Bryson that closely but I feel like he tends to take long breaks. Nowadays u have to constantly be putting music out and find someway to lean into TikTok. I feel like that's done wonders for Brent.

I just found out about him through TikTok like a year or so ago. I love his music tbh
