I think they kind of did Last Night dirty by doing a recalibration to give AC-heavy songs the advantage on the last day of the tracking week last week. It saved Fast Car and put Last Night in recurrency. The week before, Last Night was ahead of Fast Car on the Hot 100. 2
DemDam92 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/shakira-las-mujeres-ya-no-lloran-number-one-top-latin-albums-1235647709/ Shakira makes a splash across Billboard'scharts as her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, her twelfth studio album over a four-decade career, debuts at No. 1 on Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums (dated April 6). The set concurrently bows at No. 2 on Top Album Sales, No. 4 on Vinyl Albums and at No. 13 on the overall Billboard 200chart. Shakira Becomes First Woman With No. 1 Albums Across Four Decades: As Shakira reclaims the No. 1 spot on Top Latin Albums with Las Mujeres, she banks her seventh No. 1 among 11 career entries, and her first in the 2020s decade, after she managed at least one No. 1 every year from 1998-2017. Puntería's' Marksmanship Blasts Shakira To Different Orbit Across Songs Charts: On the songs realm, Las Mujeresparades three new cuts on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart: "Puntería,” with Cardi B, leads the new recruits, launching at No. 3 –Shakira's highest debut since "TQG,” with Karol G, debuted at No. 1 on the chart-dated March 11, 2023. The chart ranks the most popular Latin songs of the week by blending streaming, airplay, and sales data. "Puntería" opens at No. 3 on Hot Latin Songs mainly on the strength of streaming data and strong radio support. The album's eighth single logged 6.6 million official U.S. streams during the same tracking week, enough to shoot the collab to a No. 6 start on Latin Streaming Songs. The Barbie hating queen does totally fine with the numbers! 2
vuelve88 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Queen of topping the Latin Charts I'm sure Shakira and her sons celebrated Future topping the Billboard 200 Albums Chart because men should be empowered too. 1

Unfortunately I knew there wasn't room for both left this week. "Wallenators" had actually kicked into overdrive trying to download download & stream LN the tracking weeks last 36-48 hrs. Apple Music & downloads charts reflected this. But, you're right. The last day/next to last day of tracking weeks-end airplay panel recalibration gave FC enough of an airplay boost to overcome the last minute consumption efforts from Wallen fans. To be fair panel reweighing normally comes on Mondays. I don't know why they did this 1 on Wed/Thu.

They are rigging the charts on his favor I don't think Billboard is rigging the charts in favor of a certain artist, but rather the problem is the arbitrary and inconsistent application of the recurrent rules. As seen above, Billboard kept Burn It Down and Wild Ones on the charts, but put FE!N to recurrency, despite all of these songs getting radio gains on a format. Furthermore, On My Mama is still gaining on Pop, but has been recurrent on the Hot 100 for weeks now. If anything, Billboard seems to be giving favorable treatment towards a genre: country. I just wish Billboard was more consistent with this, and either chart all of these songs, or none.
