futuresuperstar2023 Posted March 28 Posted March 28 (edited) This album is said to better than renaissance by the Aussies so why the low ass 70 range prediction for Cowboy Carter lmao. The bitterness always show on here towards Bey. Edited March 28 by futuresuperstar2023
50thStateofMind Posted March 28 Posted March 28 same as ren: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/aug/06/beyonce-renaissance-review-a-breathtaking-maximalist-tour-de-force
Jon Snow Posted March 28 Posted March 28 i expect another 90+ for this, it's better than all three of her albums above 90 1 1 1
suburbannature Posted March 28 Posted March 28 That's basically a 100 coming from his misogynistic ass 5 1 4

TROPICUM Posted March 28 Posted March 28 we need the 100s / 10s / 5 stars to start coming in right NEAOW
PurpleAfrodyte Posted March 28 Posted March 28 I don't think it will surpass Renaissance in terms of acclaim on metacritic. I say it will be between 70-85. 1
SeeingStars1515 Posted March 29 Posted March 29 https://www.thelineofbestfit.com/albums/beyonce-cowboy-carter-remakes-country-in-own-image Yeah - I think this will prob be upper 70s/low 80s - feels like there is a lot more that will be critiqued cause of its length. Whatever - i think its a masterpiece lol

Kristie Kuwa Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Its length when its only like 10 min longer thsn Rennie. The exaggerations. Critics are useless these days. They dont put effort into anything, they just Review based on premade notions. Its not authentic 1
Tyrion_LMG Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I think it will be 80-85. It's not better than her last three albums so it makes sense. Ending up in the 70s is a nonsense and unrealistic. It's too ambitious for that.
suburbannature Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Those are two of the toughest critics. I still think it will land in low 80s.
Machete Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I am thinking 83-88. I think it will be the opposite of what happened for Renaissance (Ren first few reviews were lowkey "mid" like a bunch of 80s and then Pitchfork gave it a 9 and the reviews following that acclaimed it and brought the score up until weeks later when that one bitter publication gave it a 50 for "LGBT appropriation ). In this case I can see Pitchfork being more harsh and scoring it in the 7s. 1
