Popular Post k4rmabutterfly Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 (edited) "I can't even express to you how wasteful it is. It is right in front of our faces and people are just getting away with it left and right, and I find it really frustrating as somebody who really goes out of my way to be sustainable and do the best that I can and try to involve everybody in my team in being sustainable — and then it's some of the biggest artists in the world making f–king 40 different vinyl packages that have a different unique thing just to get you to keep buying more. It's so wasteful, and it's irritating to me that we're still at a point where you care that much about your numbers and you care that much about making money — and it's all your favorite artists doing that sh-t.” Thoughts? Popular Post KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 She literally does the SAME EXACT THING. Plus she does special vinyl editions with luxury brands that barely do anything for sustainability (Like Gucci) 23 1

Popular Post By the Water Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 How does hers being made with recycled material change the fact that she's doing it for sales and money though? Also 18 6 1 1
Popular Post Price of Fame Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 I agree with the 2x Oscar winner (not everybody has that despite trying so desparately just to even get a nomination) 14 2 28 2 5
KatyPrismSpirit Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Shes basically shading Taylor since she is the one most known for doing it (the thing with each vinyl having a different song) 10 2 3
Popular Post SharGaga Posted March 28 Popular Post Posted March 28 Taylor is the only one who actually has the demand to sell this stuff out. Nobody bought Olivia's 4 track deluxe songs vinyl in November. That's actually wasteful. 5 21 2 6

wish Posted March 28 Posted March 28 One thing about Billie is that she is outspoken and she WILL say what's on her mind. Kudos to her bc she is 100% right She's already been using recycled materials for her vinyls, so I'm expecting that to continue from here on out. EDIT: awww keep downvoting me! let your frustrations out 11 1 8
Richie.Valdez Posted March 28 Posted March 28 No lies told... the sole purpose to release multiple editions is to rip off underdeveloped minds that are easily tricked into that money-hungry machine. It's all about making money and bragging rights. They could care less about the environment because when things get even more rough in this planet due to global warming they will have the money to be comfortable while the underdeveloped minds will stare and suffer. 4 1 4

Kayseri Mantisi Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Lorde is the first to have a discless era to save the planet with Solar Power. Billie is following the trends with an insincere way as always. She had 8 vinyl variants during Happier Than Ever era which is way more than recent Taylor / Ariana / Dua eras. 10 1 5

That's what you call milking. Obviously nobody had anything to say about that because she ain't no Taylor Swift. 2 1

State of Grace. Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Well...what she said is all right lol. But she's still a capitalist signed to a major label so these takes are so Let's see what they do BL3's rollout. 2 5
fememeist Posted March 28 Posted March 28 She says she and her team tries to be sustainable but she does the same thing?
