mellenthin Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Coming to save 2024 horror? Also, she really looks like Shelley Duvall (from The Shining) in the thumbnail! 2
єѕℓαм Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Can't wait to watch it Lots of great horror movies coming out this year
Reflektor Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Saw it last night: it ATE up Immaculate. I'm honestly shocked at how pretty and creepy this was. Nun Horror 101 but done so well! The biggest issue was that it was forced to tie itself into the "intellectual property" of the Omen which was completely uneccessary for any reason beyond marketing. I knew from the trailer that this filmmaker (first time director Arkasha Stevenson) had taste and boy does she!
Kevin2803 Posted April 6 Posted April 6 This was absolutely incredible. A strong contender for the best horror movie of the year and maybe the best horror prequel ever made.
Bandito Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Yassss, I can't wait to make my boyfriend watch it with me now that it's out in something other than a shitty cam recording. No matter how hard I tried, I could not convince him to pay to see it with me in the theater.

I remember growing up watching The Omen. I don't remember much about it though… Was Margaret, Clarita, and the daughter in the originals? Is this like a soft reboot? I feel like they're setting this up to be a new Halloween franchise.

Only Father Brennan was a character in the original, i think they said in the original that Damien's mother died while giving birth.
