I Melt Away Posted March 27 Posted March 27 (edited) JLo troll posts/memes were always a thing and it was always bad on Twitter but it got SO bad on TikTok. I'm not even a fan of her but it was very discouraging to see. I guess because Gen Z/Alpha is not too in touch with JLo (or our TRL-era pop girls in general) so they continually rehash the same "JLo steals songs! She can't sing! She's rude!" talking points they overheard. If you search any pop girl on TikTok it's all positive content but if you search JLo it's literally everyone just ragging on her. Even on her official contents it's all hate comments. It's so bad there. Thankfully there has been non-JLo fans defending her on Twitter and TikTok now since the hate train is getting overblown. The New York Post is just another trashy tabloid. It's about as low as The Sun, The Daily Mail, Buzzfeed and the trashy online versions of reputable magazines (Forbes, Variety, etc.).
