First assumption is that this was an inside job to keep the wars going

Do we have to feel sorry for them? Idk, since they keep killing innocent ukrainians and especially children with rockets on a daily basis. Irony, that mad dictator can't even protect his own ppl in Capital city, since all special forces are busy with genocide against Ukraine.

you really sat there and wrote this.. HOW do you reach this level of stupid?tumblr_inline_r5b6ycKjzn1qktomp_500.gif

Horrible.

Some of you in this thread act like you have so much empathy for other people, but then innocent people die that doesn't fit your self narrative of being a humane angel and you act like they deserved it ? :bibliahh: Get real and grow up, you act like you sit on your as5 and scroll tiktok all day and then cry about it when going to sleep. Nobody f:ck with people like you irl.

Did I lie tho? Take a look at YouTube, there's a lot of social experiment videos, where majority of russians support putin madness and only blaming west with US but I'm the one who's "disgusting" apparently for simply speaking the truth...

It's a tragedy but very obvious, when your own police, special forces and military are busy with killing in other country, instead of protecting their own ppl in "most safest city" in the world by putin quote.

Would you blame the people of North Korea for being brainwashed? Like why would you wish death upon innocent civilians for their government's actions

A lot of Russians are also fighting their government

North Korea is completely isolated from other world, so poor people has no choice just to believe in state propaganda. Russia is completely a different country with open sources to internet and most important information that different from state tv propaganda. They had a power to actually protest and prevent this bloody war in Ukraine but majority stayed quiet and this is wild to me. I don't wish them death by any means, these terrorist attacks is inside job that clearly showing that russian government is ready to kill anyone, even their own civilians to achieve some sick goals. Russian people has the power to stop it but so far majority of them just keep living in their own comfortable bubble aka "it's neither my headache not my piece of cake".

A lot of people in Russia are standing up against the government and they're paying the price for it (sometimes literally their lives)

And your last statement is just not true, that's like saying Americans have the power to stop the government from supporting the genocide in Gaza and saying "well should we care?” after another mass shooting there

Like sure a portion of the Russian population supports the war, but a portion also doesn't, and how should we know which side was at this concert? It's just crazy to me to say we shouldn't care or they deserved it

Is it an election year in Russia too?

I feel bad for the innocent lives but now numb to it given monstrosities like that are now typical Friday in the US.

Government =/= citizens

I met a very sweet Russian young man in Barcelona last year who got a call from his boss when the war started that he had a plane ticket and 10 hours to pack all of this items and leave forever. These people are victims too and are not all evil

If this really turns out to be a false flag operation (which seems very possible) the "We shouldn't feel bad for Russian civilians" think pieces in here will look even worse. They're not cute now either, but imagine trying to dehumanize victims who may have been killed by their own government...

Actually, we have the power. There was a lot of protests around different states against genocide in Gaza and at least Biden administration is fully aware of it. They know exactly that support of Netanyahu can cost them re-election and most important no one is prosecuting us for our voice. We choose government not like they choose us.

My first thought was 'false flag'. But what do I know? Innocent people died no matter who is behind it.:!ohno: RIP to all the victims.

But they're worried about this?

They've got their priorities all wrong

Just saw this on the news… so ******* sad. RIP

you expect millions of civilians, spread across thousands of miles, to risk their freedom and their lives alongside those of their family and loved ones to coordinate a massive unified resistance to overthrow an extremely entrenched authoritarian government. you sound very brave, on atrl from the safety of your comfortable bubble that is.

So? I also met a lot of Russians over the years and they all hated Westeners while living in the West and living really well. Funny, isn't it?

I also talked to a Russian gay at the beginning of the invasion, who with no shame or irony said that we should all just stfu about Ukraine and that we don't understand why Russia has to erradicate it.

After me suggesting him that he himself should help out mother Russia and its soldiers he got mad and left.

Most Russians are not mad that their home country has invaded Ukraine and it has nothing to do with being bombarded with propaganda but with pride. They only get mad when they or their loved ones have to go to the warzone themselves.

We shouldn't use this thread to disrespect the victims of this tragical event today. The loss of human lives is nothing to be insensitive about. Members on here should also stop with the false narrative that a lot of Russians are against the war which is factually false. The vast majority is simply pro war and that is a huge problem. And they are not supporting the war because they don't know better. No, they are supporting the invasion of Ukraine because they dismiss to be better. They have all the access to information needed, inside and outside of Russia.

Because of my job I have to deal with a lot of ppl from Russia and I am at a point where I really struggle to stay professional. It's not like I can escape it. They simply blame everybody else but themselves. It's pathetic and it's really not just a random phenomena. It's a concerning reality.
