Moth 2 The Flame Posted March 22 Posted March 22 https://www.aria.com.au/charts/albums-chart/2024-03-25 Ariana spends a 2nd week at #1 on the Australian ARIA albums chart with Eternal Sunshine, meanwhile Justin Timberlake crashes in at a disastrous #23 debut. His last album, Man of The Woods debuted and peaked at #2 here just for a comparison. 5
blown away Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) Ouch, that's really bad for Justin. But in all honesty, the album wasn't good either. I only liked 3-4 songs. Congrats to Ariana, the people really seem to connect with eternal sunshine. Edited March 22 by blown away 1 1

imabadkid Posted March 22 Posted March 22 (edited) girl idc what anyone says MOTW was a good album. at least that era, despite its I live in Oklahoma in the woodz theme, it still felt like JT. this album feels like some random guy asked all of The Weeknd's producers to give him his leftovers. Man of The Woods debuted and peaked at #2 here just for a comparison. Edited March 22 by imabadkid
SoundsandSongs Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Not shocking, Man of The Woods peaked at #4 but only reached #100 on Australia's Year End chart despite being released in February. It also failed to be certified. 20/20 Experience Part 2 also didn't make Year End Charts. Justin hasn't been a big album seller in Australia for years.
Leppie Posted March 22 Posted March 22 omg Ricki Lee's album already out of the top 50 Australian charts are a mess.. it's 80% greatest hits compilations now
Moonlight Nation Posted March 22 Posted March 22 For further reference, here are the albums surrounding Timberlake's latest release... As many can probably imagine, a #23 debut marks a career low for him in Australia, since all his previous projects got to the top 10, with all but "Justified" (#9) peaking in the top 5.

Raspberries Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Australia is one of the easiest markets to debut well in for pop stars This is catastrophic
KKCuteCat Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Releasing this album at this time is a bad idea for him. Not only he is facing the hate train after Britney's book but also this album is terribly bad.
