If she wants to do music ofc go for it but shell never be successful. She's too old (for the gp, radio and so on, not me, don't get me wrong) and if the agency succeeded with the rest, why isn't she happy?

She could release music independently.

She's nearing her 50's and already has a name. Why won't she just invest in herself and do it independently?  The gays will eat it up that's all she needs, she's already successful in other metrics

she will NEVER make it as a solo artist, as we seen her try it before.

audience only love her as part of PCD -go back and give is the reunion we need!

She probably needs to let it go and release music as an independent artist :butterfly:

I don't think there's much demand for solo albums from her.. Sad she never made it as a solo artist. But yeah maybe she can become an indie pop queen

I think Sony BMG would be a good fit for her

She's talented but if she didn't make it as a solo artist in her 20s/30s at the peak of the PCD success she's not going to make it now. She needs to ego and reunite with the PCDs and actually let share the spotlight.

The weird and ageist comments in here :biblio:

She's stunning and talented, of course there can be a place in the industry for her!

Most of it is down to luck and choosing the right opportunities.

If she keeps pushing in the theater world I can see that being a gateway to more albums for her.

It is CRAZY to me that someone as talented, pretty and famous as Nicole Scherzinger struggles to find a record deal. It's not like she has anything to prove. We know this woman is capable of so much. The main issue with Nicole's career is that when she debuted as a solo act, her team clearly had no budget and did not know how to market her.

Now she's "too old" to explode as a solo act but damn, she should somehow release music as an independant artist, she deserves to be able to put out songs and we deserve to hear what she has to offer.

Hopefully she brought a telescope and some flashlights on her journey to a record deal.

Isn't she like 50? Sometimes you need to be realistic. Her best bet is to go independent if she really wants to pursue music. But yeah, at 50, you should be touring off your legacy like Madonna, Cher, Janet etc not trying to launch a career

Whatever U Like was such a catchy song. I'm still shocked it flopped so miserably.

I'm glad she's going the Broadway route, but this could be a cute side project. Just release some actual music.

Also we need to stop lying that no one was here for her as a solo artist. The US, and their chronic inability to enjoy fun pop music, wasn't of course. But she had a #1 and 4 other top 10 singles in the UK.

I honestly think this would be her last solo album. And the hiatus between West End and Broadway would've been a great opportunity. It's so sad she's still struggling with this nonsense. She should just release it indie at this point. Lets go Nicole!!

Y'all realise she's literally around the same age as Beyonce and Shakira had global smashes recently :coffee2: 40s is definetly not too old. Cher was 52 during believe era.

It's not that she's old, it's just that no one cares about solo Nicole music, they just want PCD and she will never accept that.

but it's a harder sell when her last relevant song was 16 years ago. Cher had a flop run but she turned it around within 10 years and consistent work.

I don't think she's likable. Nothing else really makes sense given her appearance and talent. Not sure why should never made big on her own

She's massively talented but realistically speaking, she will not be getting the TYPE of record deal she is probably aiming for (like a multi million dollar contract for 3 albums and promo deals etc...)...that's just not going to happen at this point. Why not join a indie small record label that manages like cult acts / gay pop icons stuff like that and just release what your heart desires without so much record label pressure to sell tons and stuff? She's already slaying the theater world and I'm sure she can actually probably do well in the acting world if she focuses there too but radio and big mainstream audiences will not consume her music at this point..at least not the way she seems to be wanting (I think).

Also, she should be aiming for more theater gigs, tv roles and small acting roles in films if she can. The movie industry is A LOT less ageist than music. She could actually do amazing in that realm too

Bad stage name also. Her last name is imposible to remember how to spell it

I saw her in the West End a few months back and she blew me away. She should give up pop music and stick with theater. She could be a legend on Broadway.

I mean, what's new? The industry has NEVER supported her after PCD, especially in the US.

She has been played time after time. Just stop pursuing a Pop Career and make a 100% move to Broadway and classics/covers.
