TitanicSurvivor Posted March 20 Posted March 20 I would have been so excited by this title 5 years ago, now I just casually open the thread, knowing what it will be about 1

So basically she is announcing that she's announcing her new album titled animal abuseR. Can't wait for the first single, Rabbit Mascara. Welp, can't say that I'm surprised. China has abolished that law in January 2023 so your fake outrage over it can stop. ot: she looks amazing. that's all I'm saying. 1 1

No. China has not banned or made it illegal to test cosmetics or their ingredients on animals. These new changes have only lifted the requirement for some (not all) cosmetics imported and sold in their country. If Fenty wants to sell their products in physical stores ie. Sephora in China, they HAVE TO be tested on animals. 2

Don't people realize her new material will flop like Lift Me Up did? And yes it did flop. Peaks don't tell the whole story. When someone makes a conscious choice to look stupid!
Jjang Posted March 20 Posted March 20 She's never releasing another album. It's common knowledge at this point. 1

This would actually mean something if a number #1 album did automatically mean selling lots of albums. But considering the very many albums that hit #1 and were outsold by GGGB or Loud or Talk That Talk etc I'd say no. OT: Imagine how tired we are. 1
Mean Trees Posted March 20 Posted March 20 She needs to hope that her comments about Asians growing her hair doesn't go viral on Weibo otherwise this will be a flop.... Also does this mean that her products are now not cruelty free? I thought China requires animal testing for cosmetics sold there.
RedCarpet Posted March 20 Posted March 20 at this point I don't even care about her music career, whatever
