She is not flopping, but unfortunately bir GHB and obsessed are pop rock too aggressive for gp liking , but even this way, I would release AAB the song reached 200 millions easily, it will easy beat brutal (another one that should've been single). Also the other songs have safer sound than previous 3 singles. Guts is worth having a lot of singles . she isn't releasing one more single from this album let alone 6... this ain't teenage dream 1

oceans Posted April 16 Posted April 16 two videos could be great for keeping the era a little bit more alive without spending too much on radio, and to give the era a little bit more visuals, that i feel is kinda lacking tbh

JoJo Posted April 17 Posted April 17 So American has increased by 57 points on Spotify US, 32 points in the UK, and 39 points in Ireland in a day. Will it be the sleeper hit of Guts (spilled)? 1 1
Virgos Groove Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Guts didn't make a huge impresion on me, but I'm loving this re-release. I hope we get more love songs like So American on OR3, she ate that one. 1

Raphy23 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I'm so obsessed with your eggs Yeah, I'm so Obsessed with your eggs 4
ImperialCuntess Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) So American is low-key her best upbeat song and my song of the summer. It's interesting every late addition to the album e.g. LIE is this new wave sound I wonder if she does more I need some heartland rock and baroque pop. Anyways, so american deserves to be her Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac they should push it. https://youtu.be/BxEGi6gsO8A?si=Fa2b3yIaFgeDHQpt Edited May 6 by ImperialCuntess 1
drivers license Posted June 1 Posted June 1 if Billie can bounce back from HTE, then it gives me hope Interscope will pull through with a better rollout and marketing for OR3 4
Cqmerqn Posted June 6 Posted June 6 Snatched a copy too. I thought it was liquid filled at first, so I was disappointed that it's foil.
JoJo Posted June 6 Posted June 6 It's incredible that Olivia is a top tier album seller despite debuting in the streaming era 2
drivers license Posted June 16 Posted June 16 get him back! has not even reached 300m yet? that's bad for a supposed focus track, that had mv, performances and promo (compared to bir?) what went wrong with this song. because it had all the signs of it smashing

Part of it was the pop/rock fatigue. Another is the way people continued to stream Vampire as hard as June when GHB was the main single in September/October. Even Olivia focused on performing Vampire more often. I still think Dan was right and one of the pop/rock songs should've been the lead for summer (it would have smashed just with hype regardless) and then Vampire as a follow up (people love Olivia's slower songs). I think she will definitely leave the pop/punk thing behind for OR3 and focus on other rock genres (soft rock, new wave, jangle pop, post-punk) and some singer-songwriter/folk fare unless she pulls the carpet on us and go 1000% pop as in synthpop or electroclash

despy Posted July 23 Posted July 23 "so american" is a smash waiting to happen... wish they gave it a single treatment
