Roger & someone else from the label said they treat her like she's the only artist on the radio and everything (radio, promo, etc) is her decision. She's the boss so her team ain't the issue. it's her choices 1 1
Bentley Posted May 29 Posted May 29 If that Drake collab ain't PERCHED at the the very TOP of TTH on June 28th with a radio add date we're going to have the biggest of problems

vinicius Posted May 29 Posted May 29 Not us blaming Interscope this whole time, when it was Camila's fault! Girl.............. 2
Camila Obama Cabello Posted May 29 Posted May 29 now we know that tracklist that got leaked is fake so tate and olivia collab still possible
Camila Obama Cabello Posted May 29 Posted May 29 HOPEFULLY selena and ice spice are not on the album, enough with the flop collabs give us TATE and OLIVIA!!!!
camilizer Posted May 29 Posted May 29 "The flirtatious, Caribbean-infused track (which until their Turks meetup was, according to Harris, the only album cut created with a remote collaborator) isn't Drake's only C,XOXO appearance. On the nearly two-minute-long interlude "Uuugly," sequenced immediately after "Hot Uptown," he sings over soft synth beats and Cabello's ghostly backing vocals. According to Harris, the interlude was Drake's idea: "He wanted to do one more thing for the album."
camilizer Posted May 29 Posted May 29 That vibe particularly comes through on "Dade County Dreaming," the final track she recorded for C,XOXO. Inspired by its namesake county, the collaboration with Miami hip-hop duo City Girls (who Cabello connected with through her sound engineer) captures the essence of both the album and who Cabello is today: a city girl herself, having fun and living life. The hard-hitting track — with its '90s freestyle undertones, haunting piano lines and geographic name drops — was, Cabello says, "the missing piece on the album [because] City Girls represent Miami so hard." i cannot ******* wait for this album.
vinicius Posted May 29 Posted May 29 So the collaborations are: Playboi Carti, Lil Nas X, Drake, City Girls, The-Dream and BLP Kosher
vinicius Posted May 29 Posted May 29 As the confirmed tracklist, we have: I LUV IT, HE KNOWS, UUUGLY, HOT UPTOWN, DADE COUNTY DREAMING, TWENTY SOMETHINGS and CHANEL N. 5 Possible songs, yet to be confirmed: BOAT and GODSPEED

SHE is the boss. SHE decides what people do and what strategy they're taking… it's her choices and they follow her word.

"It sounded like Camila wanted a label team that really gets into the weeds of everything. What are the big looks with the [digital service provider] partners? What is the strategy with radio? How are we implementing it internationally? She's the boss of the boardroom, and she can tell us how she feels and how she wants to market. She's really embracing the fact that she has a big team that operates like a boutique."

punisher Posted May 29 Posted May 29 y'all do realise most of the time labels don't pay for TTH? there's a team that chooses which songs make it every week, if they sound like hits you'll get added, and if you're a consistent hitmaker (which camilla is not) then you'll get added on there for most releases. ofc labels can pay but it's not as common as y'all put it out to be doja's OKLOSER was #1 on TTH and didn't even chart on global spotify, it doesn't make the biggest difference ever
