TheseThingsHappen Posted July 5 Posted July 5 This album is really solid. She could've ditched the 'koshi xoxo' interlude and 'Uuugly' though. Also not a big fan of 'DREAM-GIRLS'. I often skip that one. My faves: I LUV IT (this one will never get old. She really did that!) HE KNOWS Dade County Dreaming HOT UPTOWN B.O.A.T. pretty when i cry June Gloom B.O.A.T. is so f*cking good. That sample is genius. 'pink xoxo' should've been a full song! Overall very solid. Hope she'll release that deluxe. 4
Papi Juancho Posted July 5 Posted July 5 UK 20. C, XOXO (DEBUT) Camila Cabello's experimental C,XOXO nets her a fourth Top 20 album (20), joining 2018's Camila (2), 2019's Romance (14) and 2022 record Familia (9).
Epica Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Oh Gosh, that's a really poor performance after Glastonbury and UK promo. The label will not be happy…
Lost In Paradise Posted July 5 Posted July 5 don't know if people were trolling but please keep Selena FAR AWAY from any B.O.A.T. remix pleeeease the song doesn't even need a remix it's perfect 2

Lost In Paradise Posted July 5 Posted July 5 unless there's a really good video for Hot Uptown, I really don't think that's a surefire hit it reminds me a lot of Know No Better. It's a fun track to dance to but it's not that catchy tbh If she wants a upbeat single next it has to be pretty when I cry or a deluxe track and B.O.A.T. for the late summer/early fall smash hit career defining moment
Solarie Posted July 5 Posted July 5 20? Oh gosh this is horrible … wasn't she 7th midweek? and all that with a Glastonbury performance as well signing CD's in the uk. im so sorry camila. Public failed you. i really can't wrap my head around this. She's serving this era on every metric - great music, looks, videos, performances… her career is to be studied on what not to do to go from being a star with multiple hits to be a certified flop

I'm kinda indifferent to her (I'll bop along if the song is cute), but it's not been lost on me that sis has never really had a fanbase of impactful size. She's been hella dependent on GP favor, Epic's payola push, and strategic collaborations. And hustle. I'll give her that. IMO, she's technically been on a downward trajectory since...Havana. For the simple fact that it's essentially been a tooth-and-nail struggle since then. What should have been the making of her has turned out to be lightning in a bottle that hasn't struck again. The albums never sell, the public continue to show that they don't care, and the handful of "hits" that followed required big-time collabs (Shawn, Ed, DaBaby). Now, even that (as seen with the slow-go of the Drake collab) isn't...enough. If anything, she should be studied for managing to stretch her 5 minutes this far. And I don't even mean it as shade. I mean it in the sense of her opportunities and her success not lining up. I get the sense she has great management and, beyond that, great agents, great publishing etc. It feels like collectively, they crunch and present her numbers + "achievements" in such a way that has her nabbing opportunity after opportunity even with no returns. Again, she has the hustle factor. So, I don't think she'll be "done" anytime soon. But I do feel like her biggest wins moving forward will exist outside of music. Basically a next-gen Nicole Scherzinger (keeps a TV gig check, endorsements, international profile etc). 1 1
sangriawine Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) The numbers are so depressing and undeserved 🙁 as a US fan I streamed over 2k times and bought 30 albums during the tracking week. I truly hope she's able to continue to get budget and opportunities despite this… I don't want to be biased but no other popstar has given me the music, the performances, and the visuals like her this era. vinicius Posted July 5 Posted July 5 #11 is not the end of the world for her, tbh. No label investiment, no radio, no payola, no playlists, no nothing. Just the fans! 3
PinkChain Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) The difference between 11 and 13 is not much. Edited July 5 by PinkChain 1
Green Posted July 5 Posted July 5 She was so close to the top 10 but at least it's better than the previous prediction
Bentley Posted July 5 Posted July 5 It doesn't matter where the album peaked. It's the fact that she's not getting a hit and her label isn't inventing in TTH that's the problem
Solarie Posted July 5 Posted July 5 It's not bad all things considered in the USA and the fact that she's outdoing Familia is amazing. Number wise I actually think it's pretty ok, wish she did hit that top 10 though. worldwide numbers are lowkey terrible. Upsetting. 2

Venom Posted July 5 Posted July 5 I was hoping for top 10, and then I was told she wouldn't even get close. Then they predicted top 16 and we got top 11. Overall, performing better than Familia. That's still impressive, all things considered. 2
