I said that before that I'm expecting less numbers, even with vinyls coming this time, but I would like to be wrong I'm streaming twentysomethings instead hot floptown the former is clearly superior song and one of the best on the album
Kern Posted June 29 Posted June 29 She needs to announce the US/EU tour but god please don't do any big venues

laqqinq Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Didn't I LUV IT also debut with 1.5M something on Global Spotify? We all know how that ended up on the charts. I expected 3–4M but well. Maybe radio can give it a good push when it's sent on Tuesday. Btw, it's good she's touring festivals. That will give her good exposure (rather than starting off with her own tour, yk).
Truth Teller Posted June 29 Posted June 29 B.O.A.T. is the only song I liked The Drake collab is weak. It sounds like a leftover demo from 2016. It will not save her. The City Girls song is also unmarketable. Chanel no.5 and an extended of the PinkPantheress interlude are catchier but I doubt they can take off. They should have doubled DOWN on i luv it, I fear The album is overall rather boring. i luv it is kind of the only real standout and the only song with an appeal, in its try-hard quirk and intentional unpleasantness. The other tracks are just not sellable. If the album sounded as chaotic as i luv it, this would have still bombed but at least it would stir up conversation. But she couldn't pull it off. This will just fade by next week without a blip on the radar. 1
laqqinq Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Interscope, push that PAYOLA down the listeners' ears and throats. IDC FR! Payola first, and then lure in actual audiences
Sad Beautiful Tragic Posted June 29 Posted June 29 This is always going to be brought up every time she makes a release

Everything has to happen during ALBUM RELEASE WEEK.
duadududt Posted June 29 Posted June 29 it will definitely do better than familia and hopefully it will be more stable

laqqinq Posted June 29 Posted June 29 Looking forward to her Glasto performance today. Isn't 1 hour a decent time run for a festival set? The other performers had around the same time limit too. I think maybe only the headliners have longer sets. 1
