WeFoundWill Posted March 24 Posted March 24 also why is it that whenever I hear about The View It's the most nonsensical take ever? It's giving the female version of an "alpha male podcast" 1 1
BGKC Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) I'm sure there were voices that were silenced when it mattered most, that's the thing. We're pushing 20-30 years later atp. You can't force her to speak out about her past traumas/abuse as if she owes you some extra tea. Enough was said. She's the victim. She decides how to move forward. Edited March 24 by BGKC 4
TryMe Posted March 24 Posted March 24 I never understand this new trend where everyone has to speak up. Wheter it's about politics, climate or your stance on gender. It's like everybody wants to work for Amnesty International. 2
Tudors Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Why does she have to speak on que just cause their is a new doc out? She's bigger then that story. Just cancel the view already for the love of God Edited March 24 by Tudors
Erreur2 La Nature Posted March 24 Posted March 24 People are always silent at work because they fear losing their job and being boycotted. That's sad, especially when we're talking about something as serious as this. There is a need to establish a system within companies to report these "incidents". I bet there are millions of stories like this one in any entertainment industry but people are silent or being silenced.
Princess Aurora Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Me to Nickelodeon studios Edited March 24 by Princess Aurora
surprisecentres Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Liz is married to one of their creepy producers & Ariana was pictured with her and Dan a couple of years ago. Ariana even still follows Dan. 1 5
Sad Serenade Posted March 24 Posted March 24 The amount of trash from them and still nobody under fire. Nickelodeon is rotten inside.
Totami Legend Posted March 24 Posted March 24 having a flashback of 9 yo me going to a football club with grandpa. When I turned on the pc there was a full naked woman on the desktop. The trauma
brraap Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Jeanette opened the floodgates. Down with this wretched company
Totami Legend Posted March 24 Posted March 24 she shouldn't be forced to address the situation but It's clear for who she stands for 1 8
Princess Aurora Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Oh dear, not another canceled era incoming from homewrecker rumors to this I hope she won't say anything for now Edited March 24 by Princess Aurora

Blue Monday Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) If you actually sat down and watched the doc with a critical eye you'd see all of the demeaning things that Ariana had to do as a cast member of Victorious, videos that now live on forever on the internet (I was actually surprised by how often they called back to them in the episodes because of how successfully Ariana's current image has been severed from her days at Nickelodeon; I don't think that's a coincidence either). If I were in Ariana's position, I wouldn't address anything; I can't imagine what she must think when she thinks back to them or sees them referenced or shared on social media when/if she goes on. I'm glad she doesn't have Twitter anymore. As others have said she doesn't have to say a damn thing about this if she doesn't want to. There were grown adults (many of them men) brainstorming, watching, editing and publishing the footage of what Ariana was forced to do as employees of Nickelodeon; let's hear from THEM. What do THEY think about being complicit in making a young girl perform callbacks and references to *****graphic acts under the guise of "children's tv.” Edited March 24 by Blue Monday 7
Gesamtkunstwerk Posted March 24 Posted March 24 A woman in that docu series said that everyone felt like they're easily replaced by the next person who wanted to do the job. So basically if you want to keep your job in this industry you better shut up or else you'll be out the door next day. Horrible because it causes everyone to protect the worst kind of people in that industry. Although this does not surprise me, when they squirted that goo on Jamie Lynns face and a GROWN adult said "it's a cum shot!” when filming 2
shyboi Posted March 24 Posted March 24 the entertainment industry is beyond disgusting, as a parent, why would you put your kids through this? it seems like no matter the branch, music, tv, films, they are all filled with the worst, creepiest people 2

GardenPanty Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) Dan Schneider & friends should burn in hell. They were literal CHILDREN. It's so sad that these shows I enjoyed growing up were so nasty behind the scenes. Im sure Jennette wasn't the only one offered hush money. Edited March 24 by GardenPanty 1
Rabbit Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Like Ariana hasn't suffered enough of her own traumas in the public eye. Let her enjoy her life and leave her alone
truthteller Posted March 24 Posted March 24 it is her own experience and she should only speak on it if she's comfortable in her own terms. no one should be forcing anyone to do anything about their experience of being a potential victim. let's bfr
