Julia Fox Posted March 19 Posted March 19 And what did you want her to say? To lie and say “it's about a huge break up I had" when in reality we all know who is the object of these songs. Artists talk about their personal life and experiences and she break up with him and it's the first album she's gonna release about that. Also why you couldn't call obsession when she dedicated like 3 albums for him? Where was that attitude? 2

It's not like she is swiftly releasing consecutive breakup albums about puppy love exes that lasted one summer.

SpaceOddity Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Not chronically online fqgs dictating how someone should handle their breakup. Especially given that they were together for a decade, had kids and she literally put her career on the backburner for the family. He didn't even apologize publicly, he tried to make himself the victim and acted petty with no sense of accountability whatsoever. Shut the **** up. 1 1
UnusualBoy Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Hopefully it's indeed the last long because honestly the topic is very tiring at this point. 1
AvadaKedavra Posted March 19 Posted March 19 (edited) Shakira can talk about the breakup all she wants. The guy didn't care about embarrassing her in front of the whole world and ruining the life she had with her 2 kids, only to be all happy with the mistress 1-2 months later and act like nothing mattered.... while Shakira life was collapsing. He also got her into legal trouble and didn't help her at all. Not to mention the abuse from his rich Spanish family and racism to Shaki. Shakira's father went to help her to barcelona, and because of that situation with gerard, he had a fall that left him almost dead on there. All of that cheating brought a lot of drama and crisis for Shak the scars are still there. Taylor Swift still sings about her past exes on albums like "Midnights" and the Re-Recordings Decades later. Miley has spent like 2 albums talking about her ex-relationship with Liam, and then we got "Flowers-Angels like you-Slide Away". Beyoncé dedicated a whole expensive visual album to her husband's cheating, but nobody said anything to her, they just gave her flowers, even though she stayed in that abusive relationship instead of jumping ship. So please, let's drop the selective outrage. How hypocritical is that? All the pop girls do the **** same and is their right. Is their catharsis to talk about the people who wronged them We get it. Youre all pressed this time cause its Shakira. Zzzzz Leave her alone bullies Metanse con la Shaki y ya saben. Les va a pesar. Les va a pesar Edited March 19 by AvadaKedavra 2
