It's extremely early and there's no clear Oscar winning film released this year yet, please. Most nominees/winners usually either come out near the award season or were a force to reckon with during the summer.

People usually start making early predictions to give a rough outline of what movies might be contenders. Everything Everywhere All At Once and CODA were released super early into the season and Dune II is probably a tech player so its not bizarre to start making predictions ASAP.
