Y'all make a big deal about an album cover but get your panties in a knot when she stands behind her vision, the misogyny is kinda jumping out :deadbanana2:

Charli has a point, because most male artists can get away with putting an abstract image or a scene from nature and they are almost never criticised, instead they are often praised for their creative design.

 

You'll notice Lorde has never put a photo of her face on the cover of her albums.

 

PH: minimalist black, with no photo at all

Melodrama: she commissioned a painting, not a photo

SP: not her face. s:wan:

Also, due to using what appears to be a fish eye lens, it's a stylised image of her body rather than regular body photo.

The green is an absolute atrocious cover but you know what? It makes me feel protective over it. its like having an ugly little child. I love it!
