Sannie Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Well, duh. They try this every time she releases new music only to realize there is never any demand.
Migs Posted March 14 Posted March 14 She changed the entire artwork for the tour and it looks fire rn Changing the main title to simply JLO Live (although not abandoning the TIMN) may help her because let’s face it, people want the classics and not new songs that only fans have heard.

They outright cancelled the dates instead of rescheduling. 1

shinyshimmery Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I might go to her show in Houston... say what you will about JLo, but she's got one of the best work ethics in showbiz... that woman can put on a great show! Edit: WELP... I just checked... it's cancelled TOO Edit 2: her ticket prices are insane!!! girl you know no one is gonna pay that much to see you. Not even Madonna had the audacity. K@rm@ Posted March 14 Posted March 14 I hate that the media is reporting low ticket sales when the Atlanta show was 70 percent sold out. Some of these media “journalist” need to stop the Stan Twitter non sense. 2 2

Prices are expensive for decent seats (not talking about nosebleeds). I remember even Beyonce had cheaper tickets were I looked. If they drop prices it will sell out quick.
Vermillion Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Lambs and JLovers coming for each others throats is giving me old school ATRL vibes Love it

You know very well I didn’t reply to a comment on page 2 but was replying to you about one thing 1 or 2 pages ago and I immediately debunked it and provided facts to support it. Can anyone help me? I want to know if we can add people as a foe/add them to the ignore list on ATRL so I don’t see their posts anymore in the future. Now go debunk Variety https://variety.com/2024/music/news/jennifer-lopez-cancels-tour-dates-tour-amid-weak-ticket-sales-1235941852/ 1 1

DLW Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Why are the the fans of Lionel Richie’s Tour Opening Act making jokes in here?
Abracadabra Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Considering that all of the cancelled shows were the last 7 shows of the leg it seems very doubtful that the reason was low ticket sales. Plus, the fact that the shows were still several months away so cancelling them due to low ticket sales at this point wouldn't really make much sense. Not sure why people are just running with the "low ticket sales" thing just so they can write a shady comment. 4 2
Lovett Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Not the JLo stans downvoting me, because I posted Variety's tweet. Don't shoot the messenger, girls! 2 2
rta1913 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 That Variety article was NASTY. I really like JLo, she delivers bops and she’s a great performer. It’s kind of sad to see how much hate she gets. She’s inoffensive tbh. She’s never pretended to be a musician or a vocalist. She’s a showgirl. She’s not musically relevant anymore and she knows it but she’s they type of act that needs to rely on her legacy as she does not have a huge fanbase that will go to her tours no matter what (like Madonna who always sold out even when her albums flopped like MDNA and Rebel Heart). For example, her Vegas Residency was very successful. The tour is struggling I won’t lie but saying those dates were cancelled because of low ticket sales is a stretch cause there are dates that are selling WORSE (like Denver) and they’re still there. Seems to be more due to scheduling issues. Also, the prices are outrageous. Her team should clock Variety tbh. Anyway, she’ll be fine. She’s hard working and she’ll always be booked. 4
