This is me now  is a movie  this is me now is a concert this is me now is an album. But glad I got you to clarify you only meant musically. The clarification was needed since you want to pretend she was all around a flop by pretending she didn't stack up a  few more film successes in the 2020s. Thank you for correcting yourself by clarifying further. Btw she's 54. All women that age are irrelevant musically. They aren't allowed to have success pass that age anyways so it's to be expected. I wonder which woman you will belittle next.

I just said that she would sell tickets easier after the superbowl and she was unlucky with the covid and you are attacking me with all these non sense

In your world i guess this is me now movie concert album is successful ... whatever

Excuse me 700 dollars for 1 ticket? Is she insane? :deadbanana:

Thats like half of most people’s monthly salary.

You need a hit to sell tickets beyond your core fans and they added dates too quickly to maybe make people think this was a hot ticket. But her album spent only 1 week on the B200. Thats why she should have made pop music with Meghan Trainor or get a worldwide hit like Aint your Mama to atleast garner interest. She should stick to acting and release droplets going forward until she gets a few more worldwide smashes and do a quick tour then in some arenas. And next time promoto worldwide let people know you have music out.

Well, the tour is only NA (so far) so I don’t think not having overseas promo is the problem. Esp since she promoted hard in US and her album still didn’t do that well.

Atrl doing the most as usual, this is obviously a schedule conflict.

The VISUAL Album (movie on Prime) and Documentary are still doing very well on Amazon Prime, this means that the fans and general public are streaming her Music somehow.

Furthermore, her Apple Live Concert is also getting streaming.

The tour has been doing good with second dates added in Toronto, New York City and Miami due to high demand in those cities.

TIMN Tour with reported sales of +50% (+250,000) during the first 3 days.

Also, the ‘Dance Again’ World 🌎 Tour, ‘It’s My party Tour’, ‘Las Vegas Residency’ all those were SOLD OUT in the USA, there’s no reason to think she wouldn’t sold out this tour TIMN.

So, the reason for the cancellation of the last 5 dates is not for lack of sales but for other unknown reason.

Netflix success is a lot more obvious. You can feel the popularity unlike Amazon. Hardly anyone knows Amazon exclusive movies

According to the Netflix CEO the J.Lo movie ‘The Mother’ was one of the movies that generated the most profits for the platform in 2023.

Also, Netflix reported the data and ‘The Mother’ was the #1 movie in Streaming for the year 2023.

so yeah, the success for the J.Lo movie was real.

Many important media outlets published the statistics as well and how ‘The Mother’ was one of the most viewed movies of the year 2023.

It makes sense that she doesn't really tour. It is hard to get her, Ashanti, and Christina Milian in the same room. Ashanti is already on her own tour right now and can't be expected to also hold up a summer tour leg pretending to not sing for someone else.

She could do it 25 years ago but she's expecting a kid now. JLo gotta find someone else to stand behind a curtain.

Excluding all the resale tickets (which are cheaper)

spacer.png

Miami 2nd - starts from $50

spacer.png

spacer.png

Austin & Dallas - starts from $50 something

spacer.png

DC - Starts from $64

Some other shows are in the same situation - cheap and a sea of unsold seats (eg. Pittsburgh, Sacramento, Denver, Tulsa, LA, San Antonio, Indianapolis etc.)

You found a few cheap tickets in not the best sections for some shows. Congratulations. Read the room and comments, the good sections are expensive @ a few hundred bucks. The fact you found a few $40-$60 tickets doesn’t mean the majority of people can get tickets at that price. You made it seem like all tickets for all shows go at that price range, while it’s actually the opposite. Majority of the tickets in this tour run for a lot higher.

Not a few hunny

The price starts from there so I stated clearly. You can have your interpretation whatever you want.

But the seats are not selling no matter how expensive you think they are.

Yes a few. The majority is priced high. But keep enjoying your fan fiction.

Oh she’s gonna sell out most of the dates you listed “hunny”. Just like her Dance Again, Vegas residency and It’s My Party tour. Just you wait. Some of the dates she canceled were already 70% sold out months before the tour starts. That’s not bad at all. It’s clearly a scheduling issue.

Correction: Not some, only one date is over 70% which is Atlanta. The remaining ones were around 40% sold.

I will give that to her as the latin community always shows up late to purchase the tickets. You can keep believing that it’s a scheduling issue. We both have our own versions of “fan fiction”.

I know of at least one of those dates that she shouldn't have cancelled if the latin community was going to buy the tickets later. :celestial5:

It did. Most shows were sold out and it grossed almost $70M.

51% of total tickets sold in less than 4 days. I'm sure JLo will be fine and there's an explanation for the cancellation of a few dates.

Those are eh numbers since most of the tickets sell in the 1st few days considering she's doing arenas.

This will underperform. She might get to 70% to 75% sold if she's lucky.

We’ll see! She did similar with her It’s My Party tour and that sold out eventually.

Also 50% sold out in first few days during On-Sale is not bad at all.

“In general, tickets for live events have a very predictable sales curve:

20% Of Tickets sell within 2 weeks of the On-Sale.

30% Of Tickets sell between the on-sale period & 2 weeks before the event. (Maintenance Period)

50% Of Tickets sell during the final 2 weeks (The Closeout)

This inverted bell curve is a tough pill to swallow for many people new to the live entertainment business. Not all events sell at exactly this rate, but this is a good general rule.”
